^{she realizes she is GAY when she sees H E R . like something straight outta a novel ,  it’s first sight . she has the intense feeling of being beside them and never leaving ,  and it’s almost as if she KNOWS ,  ‘   this it it ,  she is my soulmate   ’ .    never had she had feelings like this for a boy .   all the homophobia that drowned her ,  it comes out ,  and she bursts into tears .   how can she be the very label she was raised to be  a p p a l l e d  at ?  ?   her parents already are babying her for her attempt ,  and now this .   they were going to think she was having a MENTAL BREAKDOWN or something  . what if they sent her to a camp or a counselor ?  ?   or had her go ask for forgiveness on her knees until it got dark ?   no ,  they couldn’t know .   especially not god .   he’d damn her to hell if he knew ,  but then ,  isn’t she already heading there for considering what she did ?   her hands grip her hair as she breathes in and out slowly ,  trying to keep calm .   NOBODY HAD TO KNOW .   maybe these feelings are something else .  she will meet a nice boy and they’ll get married ,  have kids ,  the perfect life .   just as she always imagined .   ‘   i REALIZED once i got over the notion that people loving the same gender as them is wrong .   ’   and that’s all she’ll say to a stranger .}
